This and each year, St. Peter Publications is happy to produce a popular Church calendar which includes the Sundays, Holy Days, Saints' Days and seasons of the Church Year, in accordance with the calendar from the Book of Common Prayer (1962) of the Anglican Church of Canada.
The 2025 Calendar is illustrated with attractive paintings of Anglican churches throughout Canada. The paintings in this year's calendar have been selected from St. Peter Publications calendars of previous years between 1992 and 2015. Ten of the paintings are by Montreal-born artist Peter Bresnen, who was our artist for most of the years since this calendar was first printed over 30 years ago; one of the paintings is by PEI artist Julia Purcell who was our artist for the years 2013 to 2018; and one painting is by New Brunswick artist Lynn Wigginton who was our artist for the years 1999 to 2001. In future years, we hope to continue to include a wide range of paintings of churches that have appeared in our calendar over the years.
The squares provided for each day provide plenty of room for making notes on your Canadian Church Calendar, and throughout the calendar you will find all Holy Days and Commemorations noted and the liturgical colour for a given day or season marked by the colour of the date.
Featured for 2025 are churches from across the country, as follows: January - Newfoundland, February - British Columbia, March - Quebec, April - New Brunswick, May - Prince Edward Island, June - Nova Scotia, July - Northwest Territories, August - Saskatchewan, September - Manitoba, October - Ontario, November - Alberta, December - New Brunswick.
