Hankey provides a masterly presentation on recent theological history and its problems, and suggests that the way forward would be a return to the Patristic mode of looking at the Scriptures. Bishop Terwilliger points the way forward by recalling the Church to its apostolic inheritance. Dr. R.D. Crouse points the way forward sacramentally. In addition, there are two fine sermons.
